We’re staying with Scott and Chez, and it’s great to get a taste of their new American life. Shopping at the markets, eating at their favourite restaurants, cocktails at the local hotspots, American football, tailgating parties, pumpkin hunting and just hanging out as if we were neighbours again.

Chez and Scott were kind enough to lend us their cool yellow Mini Cooper S, so we hit the winding back roads of Washington, Oregon and British Columbia on a series of road trips. Here are some of the highlights…
