Madrid has been a great city to explore. It's very lively and modern, and we've loved all the green spaces; Madrid Rio, Casa de Campo and El Parque de Buen Retiro being firm favourites.
We got to hang out with our old friends Irena and Matti (who are travelling around Spain in a cool converted van), and caught up with new friends Enrique & Judith (who we met a few months ago in Sevilla), who were very patient while we practised our Spanish. ¡Muchas gracias amigos!
Glo's mum flew out for a few days and our friend Sam also joined us for a long weekend - 3 weeks in the capital de España went by quickly.
