Bonjour! After a long train ride, we arrived at Gare du Nord, and jumped off the train to the remarkable city of Paris!
We had a spectacular array of chocolate croissants, and fabulous crepes, throughout our stay in Paris. We also had a stunning chocolate mousse cake for my birthday. Yum!
The Tongs came out from the UK to spend the weekend with us, and we had the best time together. We loved staying in Bussy-Saint-Georges, just a few train stops away from the heart of Paris.
One of the fun activities we did was shopping street, Champs-Élysées, after looking at the Arc de Triomphe. We also climbed the Eiffel Tower, which was super cool.

When we went to Disney Land, there were TOO many fun things to do. I really enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean. While Jack Sparrow sang on piles of treasure, fearsome pirates fought for gold. Although I haven’t seen Pirates of the Caribbean yet, I have to say this came in second place.
First place, in my opinion was Hyperspace Mountain. I absolutely loved it. At the beginning, you turn a corner, go up a bit, stop……….. then SHOOT out of a cannon!!!!!! Upside down parts eventually come, and if I go any further it will spoil every bit of fun.
Then there was Star Tours. You're inside a rocket, visiting each planet. It is a VR set, but 3D glasses! We also did the haunted house. It was soo spooky. I was only relieved at the end, as I wait for a jump scare. It’s a Small World? Not worth that 45 min wait. But it was cute. Little dolls singing at your faces while you rumble along on a boat.
Now, for the fireworks. I was having such a good time with everyone while the Disney castle shimmered, fire works bursted and cool lights shone. I loved the projections of all the Disney characters. The whole day was amazing, as well as the parade, and when we were home at last, we fell right to sleep.
